Strip outs
Strip outs involve removing any existing fit out in order to hand it over in the same condition as when you moved in. We can remove items that are not required by the new tenant or are required to be removed as per the lease agreement.
After the strip out, there may be make-good works required to the tenancy so that it is ready for their new tenant. These repair works could include partition removal, painting, ceiling grid repairs etc.

Wall demolition
Our experienced team understands the complexities involved in removing partitions. We ensure proper assessment to confirm if the wall is load bearing.
We disconnect services, remove skirting, doors, and frames before cutting and grouping plasterboard for disposal.
We recycle metal studs, aluminium skirting, and door frames. Our approach minimizes plaster dust and ensures efficient transportation even through common areas.
Flooring Removal
Flooring removal in a defit brings uncertainty as the subfloor condition is unknown until the process begins. Dual bonded carpets with adhesive require time-consuming removal.
Residual adhesive is eliminated through grinding or sanding. Our experienced team ensures subfloor make-good, including filling holes, leveling, and providing a smooth, floor-covering-free surface for your new purpose.
Ceiling Removal
When dismantling a suspended ceiling grid, we begin by disconnecting all services with licensed tradespeople. Ceiling tiles are removed, potentially for reuse or recycling.
We proceed to dismantle the grid, starting with t-bars, main bars, and hanging rods, all of which are recyclable materials.
Removing a plaster ceiling involves cutting out plasterboard sections, wrapping them for disposal, and then removing battens and t-bars, following a similar process to dismantling a plaster wall.
Fittings and fixtures
During a defit, we meticulously remove every installed item, including fixtures, fittings, and loose objects. Our comprehensive approach includes removal of POS, reception counters, slat walls, workstations, chairs, light fittings, window coverings, joinery, office furniture, and more.
Unusable items are dismantled and sorted for appropriate disposal, recycling, or reusing. Functional items find new homes through resale, minimizing waste and maximizing sustainability.
