The team at Melbourne Defit Company is proud to announce the successful completion of a defit project at 230 Collins St in Melbourne. This particular project was completed for People Psychology, who recently moved out of their tenancy. The scope of works for this defit included after-hours floor grinding, extensive plastering to re-plaster walls that were cladded in sound deadening product, and painting the entire tenancy.
This is actually the second project that we have been referred to at 230 Collins St, and we are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work on this iconic building once again. As an older style building with timber studs and architraves and skirting, completing the defit project required a little bit more effort and attention to detail, but our team was up to the task.
One of the key factors that contributed to the success of this project was the great working relationship that we developed with the facility manager. Our team was able to work closely with the facility manager to ensure that all of the project requirements were met and that the project was completed on time and within budget.
